  • PAL Buffalo's Sports Sampling Saturdays

    Sports Sampling Saturdays is a FREE fun and motivational program offered each Saturday during the Fall, Winter, and Spring Months each year from 10am-1pm. The program designed to promote healthy youth behavior through exposure to various sports; such as Jr. NBA Basketball, USA Soccer, and Learn to Skate Ice Skating.

  • Summer Track Series

    Project Play WNY hosts free, developmental track meets open to both individuals and youth organizations to introduce young people to the fun and inclusive sport of track & field. Attendees of all abilities have the opportunity to participate in a variety of track & field events. The 2023 seaseon is complete. Stay tuned for summer 2024!

  • YMCA's Special Olympics Young Athletes

    Special Olympics Young Athletes is a sport and play program for children with and without intellectual disabilities (ID), ages 2 to 7 years old. Young Athletes introduces basic sport skills, like running, kicking and throwing. Young Athletes offers families, teachers, caregivers and people from the community the chance to share the joy of sports with all children.

    The Special Olympics Developmental Volleyball program provides an age-appropriate introduction to the sport for children with intellectual disabilities who are between ages 8 and 12 years old.

Throughout the week of Feb. 19-23, Project Play's partners will be hosting Winter Free Play Zones each day at locations in Buffalo, East Aurora and Olean. These are free, drop-in events funded by Project Play to provide a space for non-instructional activity during the winter break.

Free Play Zones will be held at the following locations, Monday-Friday:

Buffalo: The Belle Center (104 Maryland St.) from 1 to 3 p.m.

Buffalo: Resource Council of WNY (347 E. Ferry St.) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Buffalo: Myachjliw Community Center (82 Harrison St.) from 10 a.m. to noon

Olean: YMCA Twin Tiers (1101 Wayne St.) from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

East Aurora: Rural Outreach Center (730 Olean Rd.) from noon to 2 p.m.
